Kotlin creator Andrey Breslav said at #Codemotion Madrid that the future of software engineering lies with spec-driven development (SDD), in higher levels of abstraction.

it's not model drift detection, rather it's LLM-based evaluation with pass/fail scoring

Agent Health is a new evaluation and observability framework for AI agents that we've been working on @opensearch.org
It features real-time trace visualization, "Golden Path" trajectory comparison, and LLM-based evaluation scoring.
Here's a quick explainer clip for y'all.

Today, Holocaust Remembrance Day, I look at this wall and think about the antisemitism that Jews suffer these days, 2026, around the world.

#OpenSearchCon Europe is just 1οΈβ£ week away!
One special thing about this year's event is the new Search & Apache Lucene track. This gives the stage for broader discussions around search & relevancy strategies and the Lucene that sits at the heart of the OpenSearch Project.

I'd also add - if you know in advance of these special cases and custom analyzers, you can provide these hints or directives to the LLM to see if it can factor it into the design from the get-go, to hopefully reduce the post-fixes even more. worth a try :)

yes!! and also OpenTelemetry metrics ingestion support.
important steps for supporting open specifications

the AI picks the right one based on your sample data (e.g., kuromoji for Japanese, standard for English).
but yeah edge cases will always exist. anyway, even if you need to tweak those, having the heavylifting done for you, so you can only focus on that edge tweaking should be a huge time saver
most of the latest LLM models already have details about analyzers and field mappings (unless it is a new field type/analyzer)
Tired of spending hours configuring search infrastructure? π
#OpenSearch Launchpad lets AI agents build your entire search stack in MINUTES!
Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Kiro and any agent supporting Agent Skills spec.
