That used to be my old handle on Bluesky before I changed it to .com. Bluesky should never have given anyone else that account incase I ever reverted back from the .com. I was always under the impression that the Bluesky handle would not be given out to anyone else. @support.bsky.team

Moody clouds partially covering the mountain summits in Glen Etive in Scotland with the rusty coloured mountain slopes and the little lochan (water/puddle) with bright green moss in the foreground.

Moody clouds partially covering the mountain summits in Glen Etive in Scotland with the rusty coloured mountain slopes and the little lochan (water/puddle) with bright green moss in the foreground.

Heavy charcoal clouds roll over the rusty mountains of Glen Etive. Then every few minutes a shaft of light slips through & softly lights up the mountain slopes. While in the foreground the moss around the little lochan glows almost lime-green. Wild. Bleak. Beautiful Scotland. #landscapephotography

I don’t know why Bluesky isn’t tagging the right account, maybe because the account you are tagging isn’t active on Bluesky?

A single tree being blown in the wind with brown Bracken below and a colourful autumn forest in the background, then some mountains glowing in the sunshine and a cloudy and blue sky.

A single tree being blown in the wind with brown Bracken below and a colourful autumn forest in the background, then some mountains glowing in the sunshine and a cloudy and blue sky.

Just days before our epic autumn road trip to Glencoe & Skye in Scotland, we squeezed in one final trek in the Mourne Mountains. The wind was howling like a beast, but oh, those forest colours were really starting to become much more vibrant! #landscapephotography #northernireland #autumn

A scenic autumn landscape in the Mourne Mountains of Northern Ireland, featuring misty mountain summits under a cloudy sky. The foreground displays a winding gravel path through vibrant dead Bracken and trees with red and gold foliage. A solitary, leafless tree stands prominently on the left, with rolling hills and scattered houses visible in the distance.

In the photo is a large rock surrounded by grass and 2 heather plants with purple blooms. In the midground there is fog while in the background there is Hen Mountain with its jagged tors and behind the mountain is a pre dawn yellow glow from the sun rising.

A pre-dawn glow rises behind Hen Mountain, outlining its rugged tors as fog clings just below the summit. While in the foreground, small heather plants with their vibrant purple blooms thrive against the odds in the weathered rock crevices.

Yes indeed… must be plenty of bramley apples on the ground after Storm Amy. Plus that area used to be ‘bandit country’ with army towers all over the landscape.

Golden fingers of God sunburst through the clouds illuminating the south armagh countryside below. Slieve Gullion mountain to the right and in the foreground is pink heather and some green conifers.

A South Armagh golden glow! Taken from Black Mountain, surrounded by gorgeous pink heather, a sunburst peeks through the clouds over the Ring of Gullion, lighting up Jonesborough and Forkhill below.

We haven’t been to Keel point or Murlough yet.

We photographed some this week on the Rossglass coastline. They seem to have a favourite spot to sit in the sun in the mornings as we have watched them a few times over the last 2 weeks at the same spot.

Yes it’s a great place for sunsets over the mournes. We were primarily over there to photograph birds this week incase there were still some northern wheatears around.

A yellow and black painted lighthouse against a yellow sky at sunrise with some much darker clouds on the top of the frame and a shaft of light shining across the grass in front of the lighthouse.

Dawn broke at Rossglass Beach, my landscape camera poised on the tripod pointing towards the Mournes. But a glowing sky elsewhere stole the show. So I grabbed my birding camera and zoomed in on St John’s Lighthouse with its striking yellow and black tower. #sunrise #stjohnspointlighthouse #ireland

The ferry crossing was fine but coming back at 9pm the dinghy and the boat were rocking like crazy left and right so it was a bit daunting getting back on to the ferry again.
