Am I the only one shocked by this??
Is that the same for all industries in America or just education?

Never become a leader to lead - do it to make a difference.
Times are tough for many right now, and it’s easy to feel the weight of it all. Please can we take a moment to brighten someone’s day - whether it’s a kind word or a simple gesture, small acts can have a big impact.
You’ve hit the nail on the head! I genuinely don’t believe staff want to sacrifice the 9-3 as most are child centred and can see the non-negotiable aspect of this; but directed time is far to rigid in too many schools. We need to build trust and this is an obvious win-win
I think this is such an important conversation piece, especially towards the end of a 15 week term, where fatigue is kicking in and productivity is low.
We need to rethink how we deal with the demands of the career whilst not being outbeaten by the staff benefits of other career paths!

Interesting results from @teachertapp.bsky.social, especially after developments in Australia
Why am I seeing a flurry of headteachers/CEOs posting the front pages of their new Ofsted reports?
Have they really not learnt after everything that’s happened?
Shame on you! #EduSky
You’re welcome! Looking forward to see it
And mine… rock in the corner of a dark room
As promised @headteacherdj.bsky.social
This is a worrying result from @teachertapp.bsky.social
Very much so… they need to learn from the past
You missed of VAK and Blooms!
What will the difference be between exemplary and strong practice? Surely that’s the same just re-worded?!
I’m supporting a local school who utilise the ASDAN curriculum for their vulnerable pupils. Are there any experts out there who have successfully implemented this curriculum with their YP? Or haven’t and have some words of wisdom?
I absolutely loved Twitter, and EdTwitter, but after what has become a toxic, cesspit, I’ve made the decision to delete my account and move to BlueSky in the hope of being able to seize all of the good from what was a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop from EdTwitter
Great idea- I’d love to have some if we had the grounds for it
Absolutely… I will try and get a picture for you of their set-up. They have a little hut (similar to a log store) and a self-built climbing frame for them as well as a couple of hay boxes for them.
From what they said they only need a morning feed and then they graze on grass throughout the day
I know a school
That has Pygmy goats and they’re lovely- very low maintenance too!
