Heading into another milestone birthday like...

Looking out my window, I chuckled at the apparently bureaucracy needed to plant a little tree. Then I was happy to realize they were spreading out and planting trees all along the block to replace the grand old trees blown down over the years by heavy winds.

Somehow, every year, there's a weird bottleneck, and the dancers from the Alaska Airlines contingent get stuck for at least 20-30 minutes right in front of where I'm standing. I appreciate their energy.
