I am rarely on BlueSky except for when this chat is happening, or I'm on my phone making a brief haiku post. I didn't see this earlier. I hope #Scifichat will continue, but I miss its original incarnation, with lively chatter, and @jlichtenberg.bsky.social always ready with advice about writing.

Also, I'm very sorry to hear about your mother.

I'm sorry to hear that, but it's certainly true that we haven't attracted enough people that having one person have a Friday afternoon appointment isn't a problem for #SciFiChat. And my afternoons have been busy with real life lately.

Yeah, but even my own posts labeled
#SciFiChat aren't updating the search column on @deckblue . While David's post at the end of last week said this week would be social hour first, having to search my home feed is not efficient. I almost missed this post that I'm replying to, for example.

Bother. The #scifichat search column doesn't seem to be updating on @deckblue .

But I also don't see any recent posts from @davidrozansky.bsky.social or @sc4rfm4n.bsky.social I hope you folks are just late, but if the search isn't working (again) chatting would be very frustrating.
