Found a really cool starbird patch on Etsy, so I’ve been looking for a resale bag I can put it on.

Just found one priced a bit higher than I wanted to pay for one, but the bag style is called “We The Free Sabine” and hellooooooo - could that not be more perfect?!! Didn’t even make an offer. 💸

MC was super cute together, but when that storyline started, I was like ugh noooo not again. Sometimes the trope is done so well that I don’t care. This wasn’t one of those times. 😅

I went in not knowing anything other than they’re wearing old timey clothes and modern clothes in the promos and was surprised that it was a game and not reincarnation. 😆

There are kinda 3 main genres for Chinese fantasy fiction - wuxia is historical martial arts, in xianxia you’ll get deities and supernatural (martial arts plus magic), and xuanhuan is a mix of everything with original world building (alternate worlds, non-traditional myths, modern elements, etc.).

I’ve seen PMR and all the MMH versions, including the Chinese short where the ML is an idol! (It’s so bad 😭).

Glass Heart has been on my list!

I’ll look back through my spreadsheet and see if there are any historical fiction cdramas I’d rec. Have you watched any fantasy, xianxia, or xuanhuan?

Pursuit of Jade is high on my list to start watching! but I don’t think she’d like it.
