Studentaid.gov sent an incomprehensible email/acronym salad. Reading between the lines here, but I think the gist was: “Dear Dr. Puckett, despite having paid back much more than you borrowed & having more than enough qualifying work for #pslf, you will die with your #studentloans.” 😭😭

I’m Cassidy and apparently I’m “not a team player.” Written by a HS teacher for a college rec letter he shouldn’t have agreed to write/didn’t want me to get into college for some reason? No idea how/why I saw it, but it’s hilarious bc by 17 I’d worked (well) on a team in a job for 4 years.

It's rec letter writing season, so I thought I'd share a tiny hack I learned from someone on that other app a while back: Create a signature to respond to requests, so you're not writing the same email over & over (same for other regular requests). Here's mine. #AcademicSky

Congrats!! Wish I was there with you. Student aid says I still have 14 to go, even though a MOHELA agent said there were 24 deferment months that should’ve counted (they never corrected it). Pretty sure Sauron will have us paying off student loans forever. 😭
