There are too many awesome people on bsky, so I will try to post here a bit more often. This is my current project on which I am working. Still an insane amount of work has to be done, but created this rough cinematic before my vacation in September. Now back to work with renewed energy ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฐ #ue5

I am feeling the best GA when there are 2 strong candidates and choice is not obvious. During this year it was a bit strange. I would not say there was an obvious decision , but can't say there was anybody who is really strong choice

Heyo!

Iโ€™m a lead lighting artist @ nVidia. Previously Bad Robot Games and Naughty Dog.

I do #gamedev #lighting #artist things, mostly environments with some characters and occasional C++ shenanigans.

Former social media recluse, I am BACK. And I apologise in advance for all the things.

Only Unreal 5.5 feels like something proper for shipping and even it still has issues

The latest dekogon castle is not bad, but it is only a castle . Still a nice base for PCG experiments

This is the same modular kit which I did for my sigmarite church. Now I just expand the kit and create more variations

And all of them are great ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Just replayed Batman Arkham Knight. Man, this light, this mood. Still not feeling old even single day.

When you have good modular system and good content it is pretty cool how many stuff you can assemble. I just started to explode my kit, but with 5.5 it's going pretty juicy

Well, they got the best ongoing award and their reputation back.
I agree that it was MUCH more than that, but it feels like the team is still proud of their work :) would be much worse if they got nothing at all

I worked on a free course to jump start a collaboration through @academiaoftalent.bsky.social. Will be improved and updated as things are always changing but this will always be a free access course to get your feet wet.

There is such a concept as cultural dimensions map in management. Was really insightful during management training. It is not "final truth", but give a lot of ideas why some things really different. Especially if the company not very international, like 80% native - 20% abroad.

Seems I am not quite ready to say goodbye to this medieval project and I am still not doing Warhammer game, so I decided to continue my nanite exploration in 5.5. I decided to take my old project with castle on the river and nanite remaster. And it is very promising start !

Some heavy conversion on top, but the model was awesome . I especially love how many bits in this kit which you can use for some chaos ideas

With the latest release of #arcane new season I would like to share my old project which I never finished. I wanted to do a district in Piltover with the vibe of architecture of old st. Petersburg, but it was too complicated in the end. Still have this dream

I think I just got used to the 1st person camera. In isometric shots it is rare about composition and lighting. Also realistic scale rarely work nicely with realistic proportions. But somehow for this building It "clicked" in a good way
