Got it! Thanks for all of the advice!
Would rigging a worm character be a good start to learn how to rig objects?
To be honest, all of these terms are flying right out of my head right now, lol. Would sculpting an apple be a good start for beginners? Though I really want to learn how to rig a 3D body.
One of my personal goals this year is to learn 3D modeling and rigging (low-poly) in Blender. Any 3D artists here willing to share tips and insight for a beginner? #3dmodeling #3Dartist #learning3D #blender

An interesting idea! It would certainly give the players an extra challenge and resources to manage. Might play around with the idea later. Thanks!
Slow but steady wins the race. Burnout is very, very scary when developing something.
Crafting progress 1. Technically, it's not exactly crafting but more of a "shop". The player chooses an item to fabricate, scraps are paid, and then the fabricator will create the item after some time. #gamedev #indiegamedev
Updated the prototype to version 2. This update brings quite a lot of additions and changes to the game such as simple scavenging and an inventory system. The complete changelog can be found at blackcoffeepanda.itch.io/survival-gam...

Inventory development, progressing slowly but surely: youtu.be/1-3ty-M3jN8
I'd love to learn Japanese. I've learned Japanese sporadically a few while back but I stopped learning since I always procrastinate. Hopefully I can get back to learning Japanese soon.
Thanks for trying out the prototype and for the feedback!
WIP of the inventory screen. Just need to think of other tools to fill up the inventory for testing.
Will do, thanks for the advice!
True, and this is why having feedback is important during development phase. The sad thing is for new dev, getting feedback is harder than releasing a game.
For anyone interested in the game, feel free to try it out at blackcoffeepanda.itch.io/survival-gam...
Just created the prototype page for the simple survival game I'm developing. Hopefully, it would keep me motivated enough to finish it lol.
