After the pandemic struck in 2020, it became clear that Hollywood would likely not return as it was before, leaving the industry primed for an indie revolution like that of the late 90s and early 2000s.

FAQ2: Will you use AI to make your shows?

The genesis of Lowkey Moxie began in 2018. As the popularity of web series waned, Sandrene began brainstorming ways to showcase the talents of her friends in the indie film communities of Nashville and Atlanta in a serialized format.

I’m really bad at asking for money. In high school, I got a C in yearbook, despite putting together 75% of it, because I couldn’t sell enough ads.

But I’m really passionate about what we’re doing at Lowkey Moxie and would love to be able to take off running in 2026. Please help us make that happen.

We have several goals we need to hit before the end of the year.

$1k - needed to raise before we can apply to grants
$7k - minimum needed to cover lawyer and accountant fees for contracts
