Keir Starmer is appointing a former Sun editor to a top government comms role, while watering down the Hillsborough Law.

Bootlicking the Murdoch press, betraying the people of Liverpool and insulting every campaigner for justice.

I received hundreds of emails from those affected or fearing #UniversalCredit cuts, collective testament to the fact that disabled people are not feeling, as Sir Keir Starmer said he wanted, "secure and supported", but the opposite

Labour's historic attack on disabled people is already wrecking lives. Just ask Kevin | John Harris The anxiety and horror of these sweeping cuts are a matter of deliberate policy. How did the party of Bevan come to this, asks Guardian columnist John Harris

One of my son- in- laws is disabled (due to a 🚘 accident) and has had to retire early. Fortunately he has a good pension, so they should survive (otherwise the family -3 kids- would be in peril)
He said he is DISGUSTED at what Labour are doing to disabled ppl.

Liz Kendall promises to fix 'broken' benefits system Measures including restricting eligibility for disability payments are expected to save £50bn by 2030.

UK Govt to cut benefit spending by more than £5bn a year by 2029/30. Poor/Disabled hit.

Silence on corporate welfare, ending tax perks of the rich.

Aligning tax on dividends and capital gains with wages, and charging national insurance on the same can create £20bn surplus.

Why hurt the poor?

I have helped a number of friends & family apply for PIP

Initially everyone had their application declined. On appeal I managed to get everyone some component payment

Not one achieved maximum benefit even though I felt some qualified

Getting PIP is not easy despite what Kendall claims

MPs will have blood on their hands if the proposals are like anything that we are hearing. When disabled organisations, benefits claimants, carers and health professionals are ALL warning you this would increase death and disadvantage, listen. Change cannot mean worse

When someone becomes disabled or chronically ill, people will twist themselves into knots finding a way to blame them. They need to find fault so they don’t have to face the randomness of life.

The truth is, anyone can become disabled at any time.

Good health is not a guarantee.

Underfunded NHS can't provide timely care.

The language of being 'economically inactive' used by Labour belies where the real 'inaction' resides, which is is for Reeves and Starmer to stop their bullshit and tax the fucking wealth hoarders.
