Honor Guard is hereby the only mortal who has ever been allowed to touch Swan Maiden's swan skin.
She rarely ever takes it off completely. Usually subsidizing it to a tail or swan head. If it were to be stolen, she would be trapped in her human body. Hence her guard.

I aspire to do art like this. Such a wonderful still life combo!

Needed some serotonin, brought out the pod. Pod is chill on hand, proceeds to fall (gently) on the paper and flails everywhere. I thought it was funny and wanted to see if she'd do it again and yes, she did, and I was able to grab a photo in astonishment.
