Found out it was illegal bc the landlord didn’t actually file anything after calling my province’s tenancy branch and they got so upset at me to bring up an emotional sore spot for me (bringing up how my grandpa would feel) and implied I’m too cowardly to talk to her (partner wanted to talk to her)
I got an illegal and verbal eviction notice from my landlord on wednesday, so I scrambled around with my partner to make arrangements and apply for a new apartment yesterday and today.
