This week is Work Zone Awareness Week, and this Year's theme is Safe Actions Save Lives.
Every day there are a lot of things happening in a work zone, people working, equipment moving and traffic driving through all at the same moment. Every roadway worker deserves a safe shift.

A traffic and safety analysis was completed at the intersection of New Mexico State Road 333 and New Mexico State Road 217, located just south of Interstate 40 in the Tijeras canyon and now it is time to share the information.

The NM 11 Corridor Study public meeting #1 will be held on Tuesday March 31st from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Mimbres Valley Learning Center in Deming.

Today, Governor Lujan Grisham announced the appointment of David D. Quintana as Acting Secretary of the New Mexico Department of Transportation. He has been with NMDOT for over two decades, rising from Engineer in training to Programs and Infrastructure Division Director and Chief Engineer.
