The Jenner Trust are delighted to announce a grant by The National Lottery Heritage Fund to start the restoration of Dr Jenner’s House and Garden. The £221,508 grant from will restore the world’s first ever vaccination clinic “The Temple of Vaccinia” and develop plans for renovations for the house.

In 1796 the doctor and scientist Edward Jenner made a discovery that would go on to save thousands of lives. He developed a vaccine that would prevent people from catching smallpox. Jenner was influenced by the practice of inoculation, used in many West African countries and the Ottoman Empire.
Dr Jenner's House is delighted to announce its membership in the Association for Cultural Enterprises. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Association for their generous support through a bursary, which will aid in our mission to preserve and share the rich history of Dr Jenner's contributions.
We are delighted to be working with the New Berkeley Harriers in delivering the the first ever 'Jenner Jog' on 2nd March.
