Any updates on this?

Hmm, bsky skipped this image for some reason.
Quick trip out to Catherine Creek in the CRGNSA. Dominated by Grass Widow, with many Parsley coming out to about a foot tall. A few yellowbells scattered about. Saw many early Bitterroot bases popping out in their usual locations, looking like sea urchins. #pnwildflowers #orhikers
Just got a few feet of fresh, getting another foot over the weekend. Will tell you more when I get there tomorrow :-D
Snowy image of Paradise visitors center.
Nice! Definitely a lot of goat trails up there that can lead you astray :-D But the tatoosh are one of my favorite places in the PNW. Nice shot from Paradise looking out toward them this morning.
Getting stoked....leaving on a 3 day winter camping trip up to Paradise on Rainier and just checked the webcam there this morning! It should be nice on our move in day tomorrow, looks a little rougher through the weekend, but we are prepared. #OregonHC #Rainier #Paradise #WinterCamping
Love it... trying to get more local PDX area outdoor orgs shifted over here!
Ohh, Just realized my tags where "singular" #OregonHiker I added the #OregonHikers pluralized tags now so future ones should show correctly. That was my bad, I posted them as plurals for people to use.
Hmm, not seeing this on the OHC feed and not sure why, but I am looking into it.
Super wide image of snow with single set of snowshoe tracks.
Five years ago I headed up to Paradise on Mt. Rainier and wondered into the clouds. Paradise had been closed for over two weeks due to so much fresh snow and avalanches on the road. I was first in the gate and saw only one person on this adventure. #solitude #OregonHC
OK...had a chance to go back and edit the feed. Got Oregon Hikers & Climbers as the title!
ahh, I see where the disconnect is. The feed name is OHC which is confusing. hmmm, for some reason bluesky limits feed names to 15 characters, so I am limited to what I can call it. The OHC feed has a good description with the tags I described. Will ponder more.
Go to feeds, search Oregon Hikers and it should show up to hit the plus sign and follow.
Already removed the generic OHC and went with #OregonHiker, #OregonClimber or #OregonHC
RESIST!
For anyone following the Oregon Hikers and Climbers feed. I removed the very generic #OHC because it overlapped with too many other random topics using it. So tag your posts with any of these #OregonHC #OregonHiker #OregonClimber if you want them seen by the OHC community.
Agree, lots of collisions. #OregonHikers #OregonClimbers #OregonHC. I think all 3 of those are unique enough. Thanks for the feedback.
Silver Star Mountain in the snow looking out to Mt. Hood at sunrise. Solo snowshoe tracks in the snow.
Oregon Hikers and Climbers can be tagged #OHC in a post and it should now show up in the OHC feed. This is to help with Facebook user support into bluesky. I doubt we will replace FB anytime soon, but for people who want to be part of that community still and not have facebook, this is for you.
Nice...love a mini-con with friends! We did a camping/bunkhouse one up here with about 70 people before the pandemic. Fun weekend of friendship and gaming. Need to revive that.
#pnwwildflowers testing!
i see this in OHC feed!
I have published the feed, you can easily find it in the feed search for OHC or Oregon Hikers & Climbers.
Good wack at a prototype, created a test feed for Oregon Hikers & Climbers, a 26k member group from Facebook that seems to be shifting fast to bsky. The creation process definitely has it's hiccups and slowness, but feed is up and running.
Testing out creating a feed for #OHC Oregon Hikers and Climbers that are migrating over from Facebook. This way we can easily find and connect here with a simple tag in a post. I will let people know when I have the feed published so you too can try it out and connect.
Did a nice hike up Wahkeena Falls and back around to Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. Saw Fairy Falls, Ecola Falls & Weisendanger Falls in between :-D Great day to be out hiking with some great people!
We have some similar shaped hummocks near Spirit lake on Mt St Helens. Very cool geology.
I love the community on FB that I engage with....don't think much else shows in my feed other than hiking and climbing of friends :-D But I have no interest in supporting billionaire ambitions, especially when they're leaning into hate and bigotry. FB without zuck would not suck. :-)
That's awesome!
Good evening :-D
awesome...love your photography and your recipes :-D Hope we can build community here.
