Niko, a 28-year-old African bull at Zoo dâAmnĂ©ville in Moselle, France, died suddenly on December 1st.
Niko arrived at Amnéville Zoo at the age of 4, in 2001. He was captive born at Ramat Gan Zoo (Israel) on June 3, 1997. In Moselle, he "touched hundreds of thousands of visitors" over 24 years. On
