Nanotyrannus is a species of dinosaur once thought to be a juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex, however, it recently was concretely proven to be distinct from Tyrannosaurus, as well as being quite far removed from it on the tyrannosaur tree being a member that diverged much earlier
