Wow, I'm obsessed with Adam Siao Him Fa. Brilliant and fun.

My starting point recommendation is Nettle and Bone. With Hemlock and Silver and A Sorceress comes to Call peering over each shoulder. Also note, the first chapter is not like the rest.

I mean, I feel its harder for Gen Z. They watched internet shorts on sites that just don't exist any more. Geocities and MySpace...

Feminists began raising the alarm about the manosphere decades ago – and we were ignored | Laurie Penny We were told we couldn’t take a joke, and that social media isn’t real life. Now the misogyny of early chatrooms and Gamergate has made its way to the White House, says journalist and feminist activist Laurie Penny

The degradation of society:
1. Celebrating the k!lling of a CEO
2. Cheering on warehouse arsons
3. Making heroes out of people who attempt political violence
You can be outraged at the system and still not glorify violence. These aren't wins. This is a society losing its moral compass.
[Coming from a liberal btw]

I don’t know how people keep forgetting that workers rights were entirely written in blood and the capital class had to be threatened with violence before they agreed to things like 8 hour working days and 2 day weekends.

I would not be surprised if this turned out to be gender swapped.

I'm not determined to hate it but. It has 2 tropes that make me unkeen. 1. Normalised decade age gap - reviews say young couple, Robby's practically 40.
2. Dishonest genderflip, like Tàr. Is this really the only type of meaty role male creators can provide women.

This is the apotheosis of MAGA’s constant “he’s just joking” gaslighting & the towering achievement of media silo-ing

The President’s threatened civilizational annihilation, tonight, in an objectiveless war, & no one knows if he’s serious, nor are reporters even asking for a smidge of clarification

Honestly, if I try go label LLE at all, rather than simply giving it to loved ones and waiting for the explosion, I call it a genre bomb. I've also applied this label to Sinners, Hemlock and Silver, Katabasis and EEAAO. Other commonality: fabulous!

Correct. It is also why I don't use the term Zionist. I use the terms fascist regime in Israel. And fascist regime in the USA.
