After being delayed for 5 hours from expected landing to actual, is this OK @icelandair? 6 WEEKS before you look at a claim. #mvpsummit #mvpbuzz

Bye bye Iceland! #mvpsummit let's gooo! #mvpbuzz
What does one do when they wake up early at the hotel, on their way to #mvpsummit? They code, obviously!
Non ironically using a <marquee> in 2026.
NoDoxx version 2.0 is live, with tons of improvements and stability fixes! Don't show your configuration values by mistake when pair programming, use NoDoxx! Get it now at marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemNa...
Not really hate, it's just that I've worked in a few different frameworks that used XAML before, and even though the general gist is the same, it's the small differences that get you. See WPF and Avalonia. Both good systems. Too similar so when you need something for Avalonia, you'll end up with WPF
Time to build a desktop app - it's been a while. Figured I'd have a look at something new, and oh my lord is the Uno platforms UI generator insanely good! I hate XAML with a passion, and this thing means I barely need to touch the stuff. <3
Did you know that if you want to deserialize something that maps to an interface but ALSO a concrete type, you need to register that concrete type in the resolver? I knew. I also forgot. 🤦
Just wrapped up the Secret Decoder Challenge from #dotnetconf — and wow, that was a ride. Finding the clues was fun, but rearranging those final letters? That part took me forever 😅

Tons of meetings, tons of gadgets, and even some serious content, not to mention walking almost 40km over 3 days, it's time to say bye to #IFA for this time. I'll be sleeping for the next 3 days or so.
entrance to IFA at Messe Berlin
Still out and doing cool stuff! At IFA today or tomorrow? Send me a ping and we'll meet up at sommergarden! #ifa #tech #toys
Did you miss the session I had over at the Tulsa .NET User Group? Catch the VOD over at www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wtf9... ! #dotnet #repository #architecture #patterns
Repeat after me: Hiding your Knowledgebase or FAQ behind a LLM is not adding AI to your service. It's just destroying your UX. Please stop.
1/3 into the month, even with spending 2 full days experimenting with agent based coding using the #Claude 4 model, I've used 4% of my #Github #Copilot tokens. I'm not sure how people manage to run out. :S
Come on over to www.meetup.com/tulsadevelop... on the 29th of July and learn about the repository pattern in practice.
I'm on a boat. That is all, now back to our regular scheduled programming.
About to turn 40,time to have some LAN fun. Streaming will happen. 😁 #glitched

Needs more cowbell!
In my case, most of the things I build end up in a database or network call of some kind, which requires(or prefers) to be async. I'm already passing the cancellationtoken down, or at least I have it in the method signature, so I feel that the Async suffix is superfluous.
Do you use the Async suffix on your methods? In my opinion, if everything is async, then everything is async and it's not needed. The only exception is if there's both an async and sync version available.
As of yesterday, I’m proud and humbled to be counted among the #Microsoft #MVP Award recipients in the #.NET and Web Development categories. What a feeling! What a start to the new year! Catch me online or next in person at #Swetugg!
Oh package managers, how I hate to love you... #nuget #visualstudio
