Have you ever wondered what we do on our potential #AssistanceDog #partnerships #induction day? We check things like #trust, #bravery, #confidence, #initiative, #engagement and our handlers commitment to training #forcefree!
Posts by Infinity Dogs CIC
We love this clip of #ADiT Newt! We like to try to train our #AssistanceDogs for every conceivable #scenario possible. Just before this clip, Newts handler had commented on the ridiculous #AnimalNoises his #Trainer had been making to #proof his #engagement around #distractions - and then this 🤣
Remember #AssistanceDogInTraining Newt the #Labrador ? This is his first day back at #school practicing in #PublicAccess some of his #retrieval #taskwork! Newt is #OwnerTrained with the support of #InfinityDogsCIC! #DogsEmpoweringPeople
Assistance Dog Factoid 5: Any legal breed can be an Assistance Dog in the UK #InfinityDogsCIC #AssistanceDog #ServiceDog
New album cover just dropped #InfinityDogsCIC #AssistanceDog #ServiceDog
This is Robyn. She is an #ADiT for her hooman who has complex disabilities including #pandas, #mcas, #eds and #cprs
This is Wilma. She keeps her handler safe and alerts to seizures amongst many other helpy things. #InfinityDogsCIC
Assistance dog factoid 4: Assistance Dogs can be owner trained and not under any organisation. We offer support to those that want it and to those we believe we can safely help. #infinitydogscic
Assistance Dog Factoid 3: Assistance Dogs can be kicked out of a service provider if their behaviour is unreasonable. This can include not being toliet trained, uncontrolled dangerous or nuisance behaviour and wandering freely without permission. Genuine partnerships will intervene.
Our reaction when people say only yellow labradors are real ADs #InfinityDogsCIC #access
This is Bryn. Bryn is a good boy. #InfinityDogsCIC #adit
When organisations get in touch and say they want to get #AssistanceDogsEducated #infinitydogscic #assistancedogs #publicaccess #servicedogs #disability #ableism #equalityact
We call this “The Autistic Experience” 😂
Assistance Dog Factoid 2: There is NO legally required certification, identification or vest required for an Assistance Dog in the UK. The burden of proof is on the behaviour of the dog.

Meet Assistance Dog In Training Newt. Isn’t he huge? He was only 6 months old in this photo and taller than Milo!

Exactly 💀
Our faces when security ask for our certificate. Do you think my 5m swimming certificate I got as a kid will do? Bluesky

Yep - many of us medically cannot drive and public transport like trains and buses are in a sorry state of affairs! Plus the public are feral. I once had a very entitled and intimidating man run through 6 carriages after me insisting to pet my working Assistance Dog after I told him “No”.
Yep, it is as ridiculous as saying I’m a person with britishness 💀
Followed all of them!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
In our experience- ride share services have been the worst!
Awkward question, how do we share this thing? #infinitydogscic #assistancedogs #publicaccess #servicedogs #disability #ableism #equalityact
Any #forcefree dog peeps here? Show yourselves! #infinitydogscic #assistancedogs #publicaccess #servicedogs #disability #ableism #equalityact
We want to follow cool disabled and neurodivergent dog peeps. Asking for a friend…
ALL OF THIS! I am autistic. I don’t keep my autisms in a crate. Stop trying to separate us from our neurotype!
Awesome cause!
We agree, like we swear even the dinosaurs knew this was best practice even then tbh
In the UK it is illegal to negatively discriminate against disabled people as potential tenants where their assistance dog would be considered a reasonable adjustment ;)
Assistance Dog Factoid 1: In the UK an Assistance Dog is considered an ‘Auxiliary Aid’ under the Equality Act 2010.
To be an Assistance Dog, they must be able to mitigate their disabled persons disability, that without them, their handler would be at ‘significant disadvantage’ to access services
