Back from #scverse25 and feeling inspired by what @scverse.bsky.social has achieved over the last years. Impressive tools, a vibrant community and we even had a reunion with our two alumni Danila and Max Frank.

We also presented our latest findings from the lab ๐Ÿ‘‡

MIFA rests on 4 key pillars:
- Clear metadata for annotations
- Incentivise the production of annotated datasets
- Reduce the number of formats used for annotations
- Make data accessible to all

Huge thanks to all collaboratorsโ€”canโ€™t wait to see MIFA in action!

If you work with Xenium data segmentation, you may want to check out Segger!

Segger provides accurate and scalable segmentation for IIS and FISH-based spatial omics datasets, using a novel heterogenous GNN approach.

The latest #scverse hackathon on spatial omics has really been a blast! A small example: Day 2 was planned from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, yet we had people hacking until 9-10 pm! (pics 2-3).

Looking forward to the new in-person event!
