So basically the protests were peaceful except that two competing cop departments accidentally went to war with each other

After playing a fictional member of the Resistance a long time ago, I never could have imagined it ever happening in real life, but here we are.

There absolutely is a way to make coverage free during big things like this, during small things, any fucking time. It’s a virtual flip of a goddamn switch. They just need to chose to do so.

Tweet from Senator Tim Kaine states, 'Trump sows chaos in federal workforce then says "resign within a week and I'll give you 7 months severance." Don't fall for it! Trump told innumerable contractors he'd pay--then stiffed them. He has no authority to promise severance pay. Wait him out!'

Do you know why a president would do all the most evil and heinous shit via Executive Order? Because his party can't easily make it law. And if they can't make it law, they can't make it last.

Don't let anyone make you feel like this is The End. Do not let them demoralize you. Live to see them die.

There should be ads on tv tonight saying they're coming for the abortion pill. Spell it out clearly so the voters can heat it as it happened. Otherwise they will rightly blame the Dems for not telling them what was going on. It's not too late Dems.

I’m slowly trying to add anyone here that I’m connected to on the other services. It’s a very limited selection, as you might imagine.

Also, I just added a bunch from looking at who my friends follow, so take another look and you may find more people you know.

A screenshot of Apple’s messages Genmoji feature screen showing the word “salute” in the input field with a generated emoji appearing as an upraised open palm hand pointing to the right at around 45º, in what would is the typical representation of the nazi hand salute. Next to that emoji is the next generated icon, which is a smiley face with a hand raised in a typical salute gesture at the forehead.

Apple Intelligence “unexpected results”.

Seriously?! This was literally the very first result, the very first time I typed in “salute”.

A few shots of London from over the holidays. Outstanding architecture at every turn and the food was fantastic. We had Nigerian, Ethiopian, Indian, Thai, Lebanese, Turkish, and a few others. #London #architecture #photography

I get it. I grew up in a town of 2500 in rural PA. We got an Apple II in ’79, then a Mac late ’84. Post college, I moved to the Bay Area, by pure chance 3 blocks from BMUG, the world’s largest computer user group. There for 4yrs, served on the board, and eventually landed at Apple. It was a ride.

From an audience perspective, there’s only an iPhone app, but I can still see your photos quite large on my iPad, so that’s a win. Not quite, but nearly full screen.

A panorama photo of a train platform with two men standing next to each other. A malfunction has repeated the section of the image which shows the two men thirty times, so the same couple are shown standing next to each other over and over.

My iPhone 16 Pro made a few interesting panorama photos. I kind of like it and I wish I could choose this as an option.

Groups like BMUG (Berkeley Macintosh Users Group), which I was a part of, had entire disk libraries you could order, consisting of hundreds of games, utilities, etc.

Most of these were shareware (get it free and pay the author if you keep it, at least in theory) and freeware.
