Have neighbors named them yet?

During Trumps first admin I interviewed Carlson and talked to him about how his rhetoric specifically hurt my life and he treated it like a big joke. Remorse that only comes when it’s convenient isn’t remorse at all.
"The night grows late, the woods are deep and wild
Blind stars shine dimly as I seek to find
The woman buried deep within the child"

"The streets are flooded
with the tears of the privileged,
are filthy with them."
Read "Filthy" by @gothamwriters.bsky.social instructor Mary Donnelly, which is even stranger and lovelier than its start implies.

A poem for writers, by @gothamwriters.bsky.social's own David Berner:
Upon my mat
before a candle
incense drawn from flame
a woodpecker working
in the half-night of pine
its rattle and crack...

The fact that Mamdani just seems like a cheerful normal guy who's policies are things like "we're going to tax second homes to fund pothole repairs" or whatever and yet this generates panicked responses like "This is basically Stalin's great purge turned up to eleven" is... telling. It tells things.
I covered a case at another big Michigan employer where a woman sued because her bosses refused to protect her from a co-worker who was stalking her.
I should say I *tried* to cover the story. My (male) editor spiked the story, and told me to "stop picking on the guy."
I would really like to see a "declouding" movement where consumers demand any software that doesn't strictly need to be in the cloud, be downloadable to run locally on their own hardware.
The way that things used to be.
Not only was Samuel L. Jackson's delivery better, he wore a jacket that actually fit him.
Mamdami’s pied a terre tax is just going to further squeeze working class commuters who had to buy a Greenwich Village row house to avoid paying the congestion charge every day.
My left eye is a puddle of blood.
Thursday morning, I woke up that way.
My husband took my blood pressure.
Stop talking, he said, which made me
Laugh, and the digital cuff flashed, terror.

Tell me about it, Bluesky.
You're truly your brother's keeper, and the finder of lost children.
Once again, Jonathan knows what news consumers really desire.
You know who didn’t sign up for this? Bears.
AGAIN, there are candidates — real, credible candidates — running for the Democratic nomination besides the oyster Nazi and Janet Mills.
Right, @andrealaflamme.bsky.social?
Right, @davidcostello.bsky.social?
Re-upping this Scratch interview for anyone feeling bad about taxes/themselves today, especially freelancers. I hope it finds those who need it most.

its head counts those who fold, and those who wait."
