This weekend I’m in Rome! This is an attempt to compensate for the fact that I’ll be starting the year with a conference January 2, and it could be much worse (still not used to posting like I used to, 🐻 with me 😉)

This week I’m at CERN and I got to sneak a visit to my favorite experiment.

Hi Bluesky friends, I still do not use this a lot. But to keep you posted:
This week I got a grant from the Swedish research council to keep running my research group and I am very happy about it! We tried to take pictures in the University to announce but I am a bad model... (see below)

Oh if it wasn't that time of the year I certainly would. I have been looking forward to go back to Aspen for some physics...

Just to keep you posted I’ve been traveling, enjoying the brief time back home, and learning how to the economy of the department works!

Now I’m boarding a plane to Naples for the Paestum ECFA workshop!

I still don’t use this a lot but here is a picture of the porcelain dog I rescued from the trash and outfitted with CERN gear to make it up for it 🐶

I have arrived in Helsinki for a quick trip that was very long overdue. Tomorrow I’ll be giving a cosmology seminar in the Helsinki institute of physics, which is the work place of many friends!

My bike was unfortunately STOLEN. I know I have been very lucky, five years without getting my bike stolen. But still sucks… we’ll, bus it is…

The train arrived and it is actually sunny here in Uppsala. Next quest: find my bike.

Today I’m headed to the office after a VERY long time. I have a document to read in the train. The train is however not yet here, which is a bad sign 🚩
