Frustrating to hear. I’m relatively new to the dev space here so still learning about all the context and history. First impressions though: feels like there’s a core inner circle that strongly influences discourse and everyone else develops on the fringe

As an example, I can’t create a user’s atproto auth identity without hosting a PDS, meaning I have to direct them to a known provider. And many users aren’t interested in signing up with what they see as just another “twitter type”, even if they’d benefit from the underlying tech
Part of this feels like it’s because a lot of atproto dev discourse leans “all or nothing”. Apps are either completely native or don’t exist at all. There needs to be an incentive for 3rd party apps with existing users to integrate, rn the cost of entry is high
Another great read
We’ve been experimenting with lexicons to post a “job listing” to atproto at @xptracker.app, but we’re thinking of moving the lexicons to a standalone site for easier community driven development. Not sure if that’s what you’re looking for, happy to chat! example: xptracker.app/job-matches/board/

Finally done. I was able to talk with @pfrazee.com, as well as a handful of other folks with insight on the situation.

Sometimes even the President of the United States must be tried for treason.
Four portraits of Minnesota residents inside and outside their homes. From left to right: A woman in a hijab, an older woman wearing a red whistle, an elderly couple in winter coats standing in the snow, and a woman wearing a buttoned-up cardigan and dark blue jeans.
The news has moved on, but ICE is still in Minneapolis.
My neighbors are still patrolling streets, driving strangers to work, and providing aid. As a photojournalist at @propublica.org, I wanted to know: What do they look like in their daily lives?
So I picked up my camera 👇
No he was not. Look at your own screenshot. He said he took issue with a WHITE person calling themselves a black ally. He was being more specific. Man’s an attorney, language matters here.
Already said it, looked at her profile to see her say she’s a Japanese American who’s mother was presumably Japanese. I’d go and screenshot it, but apparently she blocked me 🥲
I stand by that. If your point hinges on race while you deny someone theirs, you’re sabotaging your own argument. “Defeated” was too strong a choice in word here.
I already said I agree with Jay’s point, did I not?
To your point, if you’d look, she’s Japanese American. I was with Jay’s original premise of what ally-ship means, but by not recognizing her race he’s defeated his own point.
Voted for him in the PRIMARY and it’s a fistfight situation on sight at this point
👀 could it be? ATProto oauth now live on xptracker.app! #atproto
saved by the indego bikes, CC is craaaazyy today without the L
A screenshot of a Philadelphia Inquirer Instagram post titled "In Philly, the site of an ICE arrest is (un)officially marked with a fake historic sign." It shows a street sign made up to look like one of the city's well-known historic site markers but titled "ICE KIDNAPPING and GHOST CAR"
I love this city

One keeps things fun and fresh, the other drives results. So both!
somehow don’t mind seeing a mistake on my roll of film months after the shot was taken
How are devs feeling about #htmx in 2026?
🇨🇿🇺🇦🇸🇰 Czech volunteers from the "Gift for Putin" initiative delivered 72 evacuation ambulances to Ukraine - the first batch from a joint Czech-Slovak collection, which has already raised 1.5 million euros.
“I Who Have Never Known Men” was my fave read last year, if you’re into thought provoking sci-fi adjacent books highly recommend (plus its short so easy momentum)
