Despite that, I loved #Atmosphereconf. That's rare for me: my facial blindness makes all events difficult, plus I'm not a developer, so I spent the entire event in a mixture of lowlevel anxiety and imposter syndrome. Thanks to everyone who made me feel at home, in particular @ronentk.me.

@cassidyjames.com and @julietshen.bsky.social gave a trust & safety crash course, introduced Coop to the atproto community, and hosted an unconference session on what a minimum safety stack looks like for indie devs.

I am watching people say it was worth getting COVID to go to the #Atmosphereconf after party & I don’t know if I’ve ever heard people say something so deeply upsetting & depressing to me.
