Yes yes yes I used pouch with a couchdb backend (some cloud service owned by IBM IIRC, now dead). Perfect combo, ran on everything that you could connect to the internet.

So the spirit of the patty might safely escape its earthly prison.

Pouch was amazing! I remember when in 2013-14 I build an app with phonegap and run OTA updates on iOS using realtime sync (dbs with attachments) + a bit of rx.js sprinkled on top. It was so fast that I could see the changes in the app as I was typing in futon.
It felt like magic!
(possibly slightly deranged, but serious) question: what vape would be the easiest to convert/Frankenstein it into a Meshtastic node? I'm in a mood

I caught a cold yesterday and now I'm couched. Bessel van der Kolk was right: MY BODY KNEW
MY BODY IS READY
Same, same, I even made a font about it

Organ²/ASLSP is still growing on me too, you should give it a listen!

I tried to grow a beard once, then cut it after six months; no one noticed. To beard is not my gift.
I have an uncle—the beard of the family. Come to think of it, he *is* mostly beard. Nihil in natura perit.
Hehe, not the same thing per se, but I was in a similar mood a few years back, so ended up recreating an album cover with p5js: 18-musicians.vercel.app

I made a little animation which seems to fit @chezpanique.bsky.social's article well

On the off-chance that trying to sustain a train of thought for longer than 10 seconds feels like chasing globs of mercury across an ever-tilting floor. If you wanna beat the constant churn of the algorithm.

Chrome vibes, metal beats, and 3dfx Glide like it's 1999 all over again.

Also, after spending half the day with Sofia Isella's music I'm starting to wonder if:
- Chelsea Wolfe
- Fiona Apple
- Primus/Tool
- and Lingua Ignota
participated in some Expanse-like musical-genetic-collective, likely some time around 2005 AD
Moved on to Fu Manchu and Sofia Isella afterwards, and ended up with a Tinnitus Thursday.
wait, I have a doodle for that!
(from sonnet.io/posts/emotiv...)
Next: Halcyon of course
(probably helps that I don't speak any Russian - if I recognise a familiar word, I just imagine the meaning of the rest of the song)
Starting the day with some pytest/Selenium refactoring appropriate music
no need to be a 10x dev when you can be a code gopnik

Working on the next #untested note. Guess what it's about!
Left:
Vibe coded a tiny web app to extract colour palettes from movies. It works pretty well! If I re-write it from scratch, I'll post it here.
Right:
Wada Sanzo's Dictionary of Colour Combinations
(In other words: I'm fighting the urge to add more themes to Ensō – this is my way of channeling it)
The lights look great imo, although with Bsky's video compression you get some antialiasing/blur for free™, so it's a bit hard to judge!
