Today I want to spread the word about SERRV, which is a fair-trade not-for-profit selling handcrafted items from artisans in some of the world's poorest communities. I adore what they do and sell, and I'm angry that the policies of our government are making that good work so difficult to sustain. 1/

Greetings from the garden
I'm not joking when I say mRNA technology is more important than "AI" and it's a tragedy we're throwing billions into one while our government is aggressively defunding the other.

A photo of a coyote resting on a hilltop in the early morning. Distant hills in the background and soft wild grasses in the foreground create a dreamy atmosphere.
For this coyote photo, I wanted a soft, dreamy mood, so I got down low to get some of the wild grass in the foreground.

there is such a magic to sitting on a tiny island in the boundary waters, seeing more stars than you could have imagined were up there, hearing the loons
i hope we do not rob future generations of experiencing it

Three purple flowers, drooping over to the left, with feathery tufts of leaves where their 'necks' join the main stem. The flowers have five long pointed petals each and central cluster of yellow stamens just visible within.

Incredibly beautiful!
WE WILL NOT GIVE UP.
Rock window has white harder rock on top of orange rock. The view through the window peers down on the trail and canyon landscape.
Near the end of Fairyland Loop Trail yesterday, a window in the rock on the rim yielded a view of where we had hiked earlier in the canyon below.

Good morning, beloved.
We cannot change the world without changing our minds.
The capacity for transformation begins with an expanded capacity for imagination.
Today is a great day to overcome evil with good.

Yes, me too. We all should be. Itβs terrible, and stupid.
πPope Leo XIV TODAY:
βThe world is being ravaged by a handful of tyrants. Blessed are the peacemakers, but woe to those who manipulate religion and the name of God for their own military, economic and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth.β
He is NOT backing down.
I want to encourage everyone to keep 2 things in mind: 1) Leo is absolutely talking about America here and 2) Leo is not talking ONLY about America here. Lots of fighting and oppression going on in God's name; lots of opprobrium to go around.
