I'm impressed by how fast people update!

...although it might have sampling bias where the types of people who opt into telemetry are also the types of people to update often

That's an implementation detail, you're not supposed to know about that!

With Wayland becoming the new default, will high-precision scrolling be usable on Linux/BSD platforms?

Git - git-gc Documentation

in fact, you can just disable automatic collection altogether git-scm.com/docs/git-gc#...

Git doesn't garbage-collect immediately I believe, it should stick around for long enough

I think a rebase would've fixed this, and at the very least you could just cherry-pick the commit back on top of main

Do you have a kdoc link? Alas, it will probably be macOS only, since JB seems very macbook-focused

I made a little scrub bar component in #Kotlin Compose Multiplatform

If only it supported high-precision touchpad input events, then it'd be perfect. Oh well...

Plus the fact that it's implemented as part of play services and not the OS itself

Windows is holding my RAM hostage 😒

Oh also Windows styling should be fixed now, I'm not sure what was up with that. Honestly I think I might just drop Windows support because it's such a pain and I'm pretty nobody uses it there.

godl v1.3.1 released! It fixes some pretty critical bugs in the v1.3 release, and resolves .NET issues on Flatpaks.

Download it now for Linux and Windows, Flathub soon (I hope, I need some linter exceptions added so it might take a while), and maybe AppImage too.

The entire thing is only like, 2k lines of Kotlin! I'm quite impressed by how far I've gotten with such little code.

Playing around with a #Kotlin -based animation framework written in Kotlin with a Compose Desktop-based renderer, inspired by aarthificial's Motion Canvas. This animation is written in exactly 50 LoC!

Currently there's no way to use it as a standalone framework, but I will do that soonβ„’

I discovered that people ask me "what version of Windows do you use" after I set the Win7 wallpaper as my lock screen even though the rest of the lock screen looks nothing like Windows

Interesting, I didn't actually know that D was so old. Maybe one day it'll finally escape its niche

Oh interesting, I hadn't thought about the popped out editor. I guess this is why they need you

Anyway, I'm worried that there'll just end up being the "good" filesystem tree and the "bad" filesystem tree, unless they're both identical

Interesting, maybe user groups aren't viable because you can't make mutually exclusive groups?

3 weeks ago 1 0 0 0

it already has a file tree

D looks pretty cool, I'm not sure why it's not more popular. I guess the space just got a little overcrowded or something with "C/C++ killers"
