IMHO this cover is absolutely hideous. Luckily the book is saved by some awesome Arnie Swekel art.

Only 5 pieces of art in this book, but these books are all about the covers right?

My copy of this is pretty beat up, as seen by the cover. I was never that worried about condition when I was collecting.

That’s it for this one. Do have to mention the pig-faced orcs though, because I know a lot of people definitely have nostalgia for those. That's what I grew up on.

This one kind of links a bunch of different threads together, all the stuff that's happening as the end of everything approaches.

Not sure why that one circle didn’t get the green edges, but it looks familiar like it might have been in the 2nd edition PHB book that I scanned last year.

I’ve got the Myth Drannor boxed set too. Not sure if it came out before or after this.

There’s a story behind that angel picture. I’m assuming that evil looking creature was some major villain.

Movie #11 for 2026
This was pretty silly and the cheap-looking Evil Dead type special effects got pretty crazy. The best things about it were the eye and the pig. Tons of blood everywhere, so if you’re not into that it’s definitely to be avoided. Probably not worth seeing in the theater.

I can see how this would be an attractive idea to writers - "Make good guys bad and bad guys good." But it wasn't that much fun. You've got people you like acting like a-holes & bad guys running around being all goofy. Probably one of my least favorite events so far, but it wasn't terrible.

Spin off short stories from the AXIS event. Some of these are decent, some were not doing it for me.

I did a Top 20 RPG books on FB, but I usually blabbed so much the text wouldn't fit here. So I'm just going to post the covers of the books I picked. In 5 separate posts. These aren't in any particular order. I didn't/couldn't pick an all-time favorite.
Books 9-12.

I've heard that from a couple people. Unfortunately, I'm one of those who ignored it. Though I did end up with most of the stuff for it.
An array of monstrous rulers that I’m assuming the PCs war against.

Graphic Novel #10 (2026) 3.5 out of 5 Stars I didn't read Vol 1 because I'm just reading the Axis event stuff, so I wasn't familiar with some of the characters, but the art was great and the story wasn't bad. If you're reading the Axis event you wouldn't miss out on anything by skipping this. It's the event affects the Inhumans storyline but the Inhumans storyline doesn't really seem to affect the Axis storyline.

TV Show #7 for 2026 This was a really cool way to do a documentary. It’s like a movie with breaks where they talk to scholars about what happened or sometimes it’s like a movie where the scholars talk over the action happening in a scene. The best part is that we didn’t already know the story so we were really curious about who was going to “win”. It’s also a good idea from a sales standpoint because you can’t really tell it’s a documentary until about 5 minutes in when the scholars get involved. By that time you’re interested in what’s happening.
