Also just to clarify, I threw some random resolutions in there but obviously having the major ones like 800x600, 1280x720, and 1920x1080 would be good. The bottom black area I imagined to be an area where a user could type in a custom resolution like 640x480 in case that was relevant for them

@godotengine.org Wasn't entirely sure where to post such a minor suggestion but it would be super handy if when debugging we could get an option to quickly change window resolution. What do you think?

Not yet. Version 7 is a halfway complete rebuild and upgrade to Godot so it's only available right now to supporters. When it catches up in features to the Steam demo I'm going to do a demo relaunch on Steam! 😁

Updating loadouts for the next version of MetalMercs #Godot. Going for a Tetris-style pod system. Each mech will have a unique set of pods, weapons have unique shapes.

The elevator shadows are a really nice touch. Simple but makes a big difference

I honestly don't know if I can spot a difference. It looks very nice either way. What is the difference though?

That's a great level of detail for 13x13 sprites!

The simplicity reminds me of older NES games. Has a nice nostalgic feel to it

Having not seen the original art I can still say I think this like quite good!!

One minor thing which you probably already are on top of is the shadow when there are multiple lights nearby seems to jump when the ghost crosses a threshold between the lights.

Oh gotcha. Didn't realize you were using the NES palette. Anyway wasn't trying to be overly negative. I think overall the solution is a good one compared to having a bunch of bars!

I like the concept. Have you tried a dim rather than a hard gray? With the gray it is easier to notice but the icon quickly becomes a gray blob. Just a thought. I do like the concept 🙂

That's excellent. Sleek yet simple solution

Looks quite nice. I like the little dust trail that follows the character. Little things make a big difference

Impressive! It's cool what a big difference a few rotating half circles make. Love the effect

Love the art. I'm getting flashbacks to Legends of Zelda Links Awakening.

No experience with the games you mention but I really like the smooth elegant rotation effect. Nicely done
