Replayed Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag for the first time in 12 years this week.

It’s easily in my top 5 of all time now. Possibly my favourite video game story ever??? Easily the best AC game.

I always loved it but this time something just clicked

Okay so they changed the Rayman Soundtrack. As a huge fan of the original game this has been very complicated in my head. And I have A LOT of thoughts. So many that I made a video about why I'm ultimately so disappointed in Ubisoft for this.

My current working theory is that it was cancelled then restarted, then cancelled again after the cancellation/ground up remaking of Prince Of Persia The Sands of Time. Around 2021 time I think they probably decided to shift their franchises like that to their bigger studios :)

Already had responses from them. I’m working on a video to compile every piece of hard evidence we have because something just isn’t lining up. They worked on the project in 2020 and it was cancelled the same year. If Phong really did work on it in 2021, it must’ve been a different one
