Attempted to blend steampunk and vampire themes for this ritual blood knife. Had to reinforce the structure mid-process - wouldn't want the cultist in an awkward spot, heh. The initial version was way too flimsy. Here is the final result, cuties

Well, cuties, 'tomorrow' is here. I adjusted the atmosphere a bit. The birches are gloriously highlighted, everything else can wait. Now it's time to dive into 3D modeling. I am a 3D artist, right? Anyway, I consider this concept done. May the Force be with it.

Honestly, I think the whole point of this illustration was just to draw the birch trees. Mission accomplished.

Gave my fridge a bit of dramatic lighting.
The shadows of tentacles were supposed to compensate for the lack of drama. But I’m not sure they did.
Now it looks cute, but a little gloomy. Nice.
