Amazing! Were the transfers permanent? I vaguely remember a friend in the mid 00s having a similar thing with medieval scenes but I think they were thin vinyl that could be removed and re-placed so I don't know if that's the same.
I'm going to have to pick out a selection of my favourites later there's too much good stuff in there
Feels like looking at a lost technology. Every image is a perfect desktop wallpaper.
Reminds me of the Action Transfer archive. Just fantastic to browse through, I'm so glad someone saved it all.

And they just let me drive.
What a year!
Three unpainted miniatures, showing a swordsman, a necromancer controlling the dead with bells and an apprentice with book and sword.
I'm seem to be in a cycle of falling hard back into @garthnix.bsky.social's Old Kingdom series every 5 years.
Re-listening to the audiobooks while working on some miniatures inspired by Sabriel, Lirael and Touchstone. Crossing Point Scouts to follow.
Hey this Netrunner game is pretty neat. He realised for the 5th time.
Don't worry they're releasing a movie that should tee you up for those perfectly ๐.
Two miniatures from star wars legion. Din Jarin shooting from the hip and Grogu chomping a frog.
My first attempt at doing Non-metallic metals. I don't know if I really got close to the intended 'illusion' but I still like how it turned out.

Middle two are Bad Squiddo Amazons with slight adjustments. Barbarian on the right end and the Raven are Frostgrave minis. The rest are kitbashes using Victrix kits and the man in his underwear is mostly Wargames Atlantic Gangs of Rome.
Used a dark blue contrast paint to outline the eyes coming down over the top of the cheek. Then knocked it back as I highlighted the skin tones of the cheek and added some mid blue highlights creating the streaky pattern.
Thank you, absolutely ๐

Thanks, I'd been looking for a mini with trousers to try and recreate this eye pattern.
Photo of a painted miniature - a woman in a green dress and dark Turquoise cloak holds a gold jug in one hand, a knife partially concealed by the cloak in the other.

A line of painted minis - different fighters from Ancient Greece/Mediterranean. A raven is also hanging out on a stone. A singer with a Trumpet is set to flee.
This thief (@badsquiddogames.bsky.social) is ready to join my Hero's crew. Someone has to grab the loot while the muscle is tackling the monster.

"Is this the best the Gods can send against me?!"
Finished this Medusa inspired warrior for Warriors of Athena. Tempted to make her the hero of my crew - lots of cool options to choose from and more still to finish.
#OtD 18 Feb 1943 members of the German anti-Nazi group the White Rose, Sophie and Hans Scholl were arrested distributing leaflets at Munich University. They distributed several anti-fascist leaflets before they were caught and beheaded stories.workingclasshistory.com/article/8970...
Introduce kids to Roman poetry too early and they'll become Juvenal delinquents.
Cornelius Hootigan. Many spells, few scruples.
With Warriors of Athena releasing next month, we're prepping a collection of mythical warriors from across the ancient Greece from which to build a crew.

Have you ever tried, the 7 Blunders variant? Very silly but very fun if you're familiar with the game. bitsandpieces.games/2018/11/27/v...

By most plays and most time playing.
I guess what the stats don't show was the career change into a role I really love doing and meeting so many awesome people. I also won the game of TI. So yeah, pretty good year.
Happy New Year!
We ended up swapping between small tables as the maps changed shape ๐
Finally got one of those fancy custom board game tables.
Closed out the year with my brother racing to complete our Undaunted: Stalingrad campaign. We're neck and neck with 2 missions to go. Next up, Rattenkrieg! ๐
Dumplings joined by a crispy cornflour crust plated next to a jar of Chilli Crisp.
Rounding off my journey into making chilli crisp with a final triumph.
A perfect cornflower skirt on some dumplings.
Stack of books - A Fatal Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum by Emma Southon. Once more, with feeling by Victoria Coren and Charlie Skelton. This Way Up by Mark Cooper-Jones and Jay Foreman. I Regret Almost Everything by Keith McNally.
Did well for books this Christmas.
Already 1/3 of the way into A Fatal Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum by @emmasouthon.bsky.social, it's brilliant.
A board game on a table between two players. Fox player about to get clowned on by the Raven player.
After many games of Undaunted together, I introduced my brother to War Chest. Boxing day cheese and chocolate fueling the action.
4 painted miniatures of Ewoks. One stand atop a cracked stormtrooper helmet blowing a horn, the others pose armed with slings.
Four painted Ewok miniatures. Two have spears, one brandishes an axe and one is carrying trapping equipment.
Ewoks join my Rebel forces in #SWLegion - my final bit of hobby for the year.
There's a little easter egg on the leader's base to connect them with the Riot Troopers I sent to my Secret Santa. Hopefully they'll get to meet on the table.
Took a few hours but satisfying to see it all come together. Seems to have turned out well - would recommend. Curious to see if the flavour changes much as it ages.
