Loved her Alien 3 book.
My latest book review is Pat Cadigan's Synners. Not the easiest of reads, but definitely a book worth sticking with because once it comes together it gets very dark in the best cyberpunk type of way.

Yeah he was great. It's a darker grief stricken film, but I kind of like that about it now. In my younger years it probably wasn't entertaining enough, but the older I get the more I realise what they done with the story.

I think there's enough good things in the movie for it to be decent, including Kirks backflip and the slow chase. It's not Undiscovered Country or Wrath of Khan, but it's better than people remember.
Finished reading The Long Walk. Really enjoyed it (if that's the right word for such a depressing book) Movie was really good, but think I liked the slightly darker versions of the characters in the book just as much. Will write a full review in the near future.
Not sure yet. Sometimes I design them myself and use that as a template for someone more talented to make the cover, and sometimes I can finish it to a high standard.
Yeah I have something in mind which I think will work, but it's just presenting it right.
Been a decent week for writing so far. Making good progress with the next book which should hopefully be available in a few months if I ever work out what exactly I want the cover to look like.

Working on some reviews while doing a bit of reading today. Sometimes just need a simple lazier day.
Yep. I think the big difference is those movies all had directors with vision. Donners Superman. Burtons Batman. Raimi Spiderman. They all felt like director led movies. The modern superhero films are serving too many people. To many writers and sfx. Then having to fit in with movies around them.
Getting tired of every Supergirl trailer immediately talking about Superman. Let Supergirl be Supergirl.
Also not sure about the John Wick angle but at least it was a better trailer than the last few.

Is a very undervalued part of being an author. Can be relaxing, fun, inspiring and informative, yet is technically work.
One of my favourites. And probably my joint favourite Hitchcock movie alongside Rope.
