It’s a blend of dark grey Corriedale and white Corrie x Border Leicester fleeces and carded on an Ashford drumcarder.

It’s autumn here in Australia, so have taken out my stored fibre. Long term project, probably going to weave this eventually. #drumcarder #handspinng

Need to spin 6 more skeins. This drum carded fibre is a blend of grey Corriedale, white E L and white Corrie x Border Leicester fleeces. It’s a sturdy yarn , 3 plied , to make a long lasting cabled sweater. Slow goals. #handspunyarn

The red is alpaca and blue is superwash merino. Carded 40/60 ratio on drumcarder and it produces this beautifully drapey maroon yarn #handspunyarn

I love blending fibre in my drumcarder; look at that lovely lavender! I bought the pink and blue tops cheaply, at my local woollen mill, as discard fibre. It’s so handy to experiment with, lucky me! #handspinning #fibreprep

I’d love to have this handy tool but it’s so expensive! I make do by clamping one of my handcarders onto my working table.
