#Omabuntu and #Omadeb v1.3.1 is now available! 🔥
These're mostly post-release fixes from the previous release and new packages available in the dedicated repository.
Several existing packages have also been updated to the latest versions, such as alacritty v0.17.0, zellij v0.44.1 and others.
Omabuntu and Omadeb v1.3.0 have been released, bringing with them the migration to Walker, the addition of Ghostty and Tmux, and two new themes based on Omarchy!
Along with this, the related documentation and the main Omakasui website have been updated.
You can find everything in the comments! 🔥
Tmux and Zellij
From v1.3.0, #Omabuntu and #Omadeb ship with #tmux by default, accessible via hotkey and preconfigured with the #Omarchy setup.
@zellij-dev.bsky.social has also been updated to v0.44.0, so you can take advantage of everything in the latest release.
Yes, layouts! I'm looking at you! 👀
WOW! So many cool things! I can't wait to try them. 🔥
Preview of Omabuntu v1.3.0 with Walker e Ghostty
I decided to align the version number with the next release of #Omabuntu and #Omadeb.
Actually, it was mostly a choice dictated by the annoyance of seeing two nearly identical configurations with different numbers. Yes, well... purely fancy!
So...

If you really want an Omarchy-style Omakub, then you should try Omabuntu. It's really designed to be as close to Omarchy as possible... and it even has its own migration script from Omakub! 🫡

Grazie ... e a presto (-cit!) 😁
This may not be the year of Linux Desktop either... but Microslop is certainly putting everything into accelerating its rollout. 😅
A lot of really cool projects have been born from Omarchy/Omakub, like this one too!
...and it's not Arch! 👀
So +1
I tried ohmydebn recently... and it's really cool. 🔥
At times I didn't even feel like I was on Cinnamon.
You did a really good job! 🦾
...and finally the time has come, I started the migration from #Ubuntu to #Debian.
I thought it would be more difficult, but having worked so much with #Omabuntu (in all its flavours and names), it was almost a walk in the park.
And so... #Omadeb!

lancher development keeps moving forward with new features and improvements.🔥
But the most interesting part?
You can now install it via AUR, .deb packages, or a Homebrew Tap.

#2025 was the year I focused the most on this goal.
I finished many side projects and made solid progress.
Great year, honestly! 🦾
Now excuse me while I go finish the other side projects I confidently started.

It's that time of year when a #Christmas song gets stuck in my head and I can't get it out until mid-January.
And this year it's "Fairytale of New York".
What a crazy song... and the more I get into it the more beautiful it s!
Quick demo of `lancher`: grab a template from a repo and spin up a fresh project on the spot.
Quite satisfied, actually.
Built a small thing in Go: it’s called lancher. 🚀
It manages local templates, spins up new projects fast, and doesn’t pretend to change anyone’s life.
But hey, it works!

In the gaming world, you know a brand needs money as soon as it starts spamming collab content with other big brands.
Right, #MagicTheGathering? 🫠

Today at the company we finally dropped the last project we were still hosting on Vercel and moved it to a dedicated server.
A small satisfaction, I have to admit.
*It's always skill issue
yes, well... you miss the times when it was a "game" 👀
