I believe that it truly is. But yet we get so little support or acknowledgment.

This has been a huge benefit for us. Last week my class read all about how a fire starts and spreads in the reading lesson. By the time we got to our GF of London lesson that afternoon they had lots of understanding and knowledge to bring to help history learning

We mix it up. I might use a chapter from my class text or from my class novel, a text linked to my history/science/pshe work that week or a general fiction text.

I bought the staff a Spotify advent calendar with a different Christmas song each day! It’s so lovely hearing them play it, sing along and laugh! Especially when everyone is so tired!!

Today I drove 15 miles to attend a course that is not on until Thursday! I’m not sure I should be working with small children 🙈

Absolutely- so I’m the person who regularly reviews all our policies and practices and checks that staff have breaks, non contact time, spare food if they forget lunch etc! We just received Bronze Award from Leeds Beckett for our work on MH

I am in my school. DHT & SMHL though I encourage everyone to be in charge of their own well-being - my job is to be there to offer support, listen and try to make things better if I can

Went in to school today - remembered my password, my fob, my to-do list but had eaten my lunch by 10am 🤦🏼‍♀️

We use Seesaw and parents send a reading video 1/2 x each week. This worked well initially but we’ve seen a huge drop off in KS2 and are looking for something else.
