SPOILER for the book Harrow the Ninth: The reveal of the identety of the narrator in Harrow the Ninth. I caught a lot of forshadowing but wasn't sure and it was a character I really like.

Moments are rearranged and altered and most added stuff literally doesn't fit with what happened in the main show or makes it at the very least seem weird why some stuff wasn't mentioned again.
To me the conflict between Weiss and Blake was done after Volume 1 but IQ rearranges and changes things so the plot with the Nightmare grimm can happen. And wasn't it also implied that the nice moment between Weiss bringing Ruby coffee had ulterior motives? I just don't like these reinterpretations
And I still had a lot of fun watching it. It is just also a pretty big disappointment to me.
I get that. Which is why I would not call it a bad show. I still don't like how it was handled. On top of that I simply disagree with how the show characterices Weiss. This whole show gives me the same feeling as all those RWBY rewrites. BUT this is by far the best compared to those rewrites.
I was not really bothered by the animation. I think for me this show tries so hard to potray itself as something out of the main show, only to then disregard or change some canon and characterisation. I would have liked it more if the show really did its own thing.
I’m not saying don’t vote, I’m saying voting is not how you’re going to get change. Big distinction.
I doubt this podcast is reaction material but here are the voice actor's of Blake and Yang talking about THAT moment.

I am so excited to see your reaction!
I actually think Penny's story works because of the tragedy and that she had a choice instead of being used as a statement. Also she is actually a developed character now. But I also get not liking it.
I actually really love the finale. There are some little pacing issues but nothing that bothers me much.
My problem is that the jump between Max and Chloe being so devoted to each other to them not talking didn't work without explenation. And what we did get was lackluster and too late.
@notsoavgfangirl.bsky.social I don't know if you will have time to react to it early but the first episode of The Mighty Nein just released early on the Prime Youtube channel.
I think this is more about expectations than anything. A lot of little things that add up to not being satisfying even if the episode isn't even bad.
She is loving RWBY a lot right now so why do you feel the need to comment something like this?
I am so excited to see your reaction to these episodes, but especially to one moment.
Of course they could just lie but in the offical podcast they say they did that due to the difference in medium between game and tv show.
I personally didn't have any of the problems with C3 outlined i the article but it was still an interesting read. I for one loved how the deal with Morri was handled. It says more about her as a character while also lampshading the problems with deals like that.
I personally don't need a STRQ SpinOff. I am not that interested in them outside of what they contribute to the main show. Also I will always want something new so a new Myers book means more to me than seeing what I know animated. I crossed out stuff I am not really invested in.
