God the job market is so depressing. How can a job with a PhD requirement, in good faith, pay less than $50,000? Also you need to move to south-central Louisiana, very appealing.

Oh, and the entire world of PhDs are all applying for these positions. So usually I don't even get a response. #Cool

Currently attempting to figure out the distribution network for newsprints between Frankfurt and Augsburg in 1616. Of course, a mindnumbingly impossible task without the proper resources.

Anyone on here familiar with inter-printshop exchange/reproduction networks?

To further complicate things Kress played very loose with how his name was written in his imprints. "Krebß" being the most deceptive formulation.

Somehow Caspar Krebs and Georg Kress were contemporaneous printmakers working out of Augsburg and it is impossible to determine if they really were two distinct people. It doesn't help that "Kress" was also sometimes Georg Kroesss, Jerg Kröss, Jeörg Khross, Jerg Kress, and Georg Kresß.

@jtkantor.bsky.social I heard you on @ewpod.bsky.social earlier this year. My wife and I are celebrating our one year anniversary out on the east coast (where I’m from) and will be at the later game tonight. Could you do a rendition of The One by the Backstreet Boys during the game tonight?
Thanks!
