I'm not sure how you can be against removing this man from office right now. What will it take? A nuke being dropped? It's too late then. The purpose of impeachment and the 25th Amendment is to prevent that type of thing from happening, not just to react to it.

Hand holding a Saint Patrick's Day card on a stoney beach. The front of the card is seen, featuring beautiful artwork by Irish artist Éadaín Madigan in countless shades of green in a nature inspired illustration featuring a Celtic double spiral, a tree, hill, sun, and moon.

The inside of the card reads beginning with the opening preamble of the United Nations charter: "WE THE PEOPLES OF THE UNITED NATIONS DETERMINED
to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and

to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and

to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and

to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom"

Followed by the President'sessage first in Irish "Go lasfadh beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig cosán na síochána ar fud an domhain" and then in English "May the blessings of St. Patrick's Day light the path of peace across the world"

And concluding at the bottom with Catherine Connolly's signature and titles.

Received something special in the post today!

Feel blessed for the card, and for having a President with the courage and steadfast morals to use her platform to call out injustices and illegal acts of war.

Her Saint Patrick's Day card carries a tactful and timely reminder...

By odd coincidence I happened to be editing photos of our visit to the Louvre when I caught wind of today's events.

Scooter ridding thieves walking into the #Louvre with a construction ladder and robbing the French crown jewels by chainsaw sounds straight out of #Lupin S4.

A serene night sky over calm coastal waters, illuminated by a vivid ribbon of pink and magenta light known as STEVE. The auroral arc rises vertically through a field of stars, mingling with drifting clouds and the faint green shimmer of the northern lights on the horizon. The scene feels otherworldly; celestial color painted across the stillness of sea and sky.

Throwback to a magical night in Skerries when we were treated to a stunning display of Strong Thermal Emission Velocity Enhancement.

Vertical wide shot inside the newly restored Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. The camera gazes upward through soaring stone arches and ribbed vaults that stretch upward in soft golden light. Warm chandeliers glow along the nave, and stained-glass windows softly diffuse hued light across pale stone. Below, visitors gather in reverent quiet beneath the vast, luminous ceiling.

Delighted to hear that one of my BTS stills from “In the Opinion of the Censor” has been chosen as a Finalist for Best Cinematic Image at Waterford International Film Festival.

John Kelleher's “In the Opinion of the Censor” is a fascinating documentary on the history of film censorship in Ireland.

Unit stills portrait of writer and director Denis McArdle on the set of The Light Within, bathed in a soft, golden backlight. The warm glow of the sun wraps around him, catching in his hair and glasses, while the shallow depth of field melts the background into creamy bokeh. A delicate lens flare arcs across the frame, adding an ethereal shimmer to the moment. His smile is gentle and reflective. An artist at ease within the light of his own creation.

Catherine Connolly's campaign launch event, the MC stands at the podium while a row of chairs is filled from left to right with; People Before Profit representative Paul Murphy TD, Independent Senator Eileen Flynn, Social Democrats Leader Holly Cairns TD, Irish Presidential Candidate Catherine Connolly TD, Sinn Fein President Mary Lou McDonald TD, Labour Party representative Marie Sherlock TD, and Green Party Leader Rodric O'Gorman. The screen behind them is green with Celtic flair and carries a simple message; Connolly for President.

Meanwhile in Ireland no fewer than FIVE left wing parties have united behind one presidential candidate (while the Trump/Musk endorsed candidate was so unpopular he couldn't even make it on the ballot). A truly inspiring campaign launch event! #UnitedLeft #Politics #BlueCrew #CatherineConnolly

A colourful, bright, and cheerful photo that exudes summer and childhood whimsy. We see parts of three people, but no faces; instead the focus is on a hand dipping a paintbrush into a vibrant palette of face paint. The arm, adorned with a cute rat tattoo, stretches into the frame from the top left, creating a strong diagonal that draws attention to the paintbrush. On the left side of the frame we see just a hint of the artists wardrobe as a toutou spills into frame. Two figures, blurry in the background with their faces out of frame are clearly excited children waiting for their turn under the artist's brush.

Here we see the faery-face-painting artist herself; a girl with pointy Fae ears, a short pixie cut with bright red fringe framing her face which is fixed in concentration and itself decorated in a festive motif. Her gaze is fixed on her brush as she delicately applies paint to her first customer over whose shoulder we are looking. The fairy artist is wearing sparkly clothes and bohemian jewellery. And of course she has fairy wings, because she is a fairy.

A wider shot where we finally see the fairy artist in her entirety, as well as her first customer who sits perfectly still during her transformation. The two figures sit across from eachother on wooden benches as the fairy leans across the space to do her work. The two figures are under the canopy of a large festive tent, the background is a large green and tall oak trees.

A vegan fesival-goer walking towards camera, away from the dancing crowd and glowing stage in the background. Her face is alight with a huge smile as she places a pair of red-tinted glasses with shiny crystals covering the frames with her right hand. She is dressed in colourful garb of many patterns, including a fluffy black jacket with silver detail of glittering stars and ringed planets. In her left hand is a blue and yellow can of "All About" kombucha.

Behind the scenes on the set of The Light Within. Director Denis McArdle gestures mid-discussion with Director of Photography David C. Lynch, both standing in a haze of set lighting. Cast members in period costume sit on wooden pews of a historic Quaker meeting house, lit by dramatic beams of light from a window. The mood is thoughtful, hushed, and cinematic.
