This morning, I saw all four goshawks gathering together on the tree where their nest is located. There, they began chanting to each other. It was a beautiful thing to see. I wonder what they were talking about in the morning.

Herps out there, I need help identifying a #lizard. My brother who works on a farm sent me this video, and this screenshot you're seeing is the best way you can see the lizard. It looks like an agamid, but I'm not sure.

It's lovely when you have neighbours who sing every morning.

There's something beautiful about a wetland covered in a blanket of fog.

I caught a Yanma pokémon!
Actually, it's just a normal but really cool dragon. These small living helicopters can move in any direction when their in the air, beating their wings around 30 times per second. This one was safely released outdoors.

Shut the front door!

Last night, I found the biggest Strongylopus grayii I've ever seen.

I had to take a quick shot of it because my cousin was keeping the cat from getting out of the front door. So, yeah. Pun intended. 🐸

Someone should create a pokedex for birds. I want to walk around and point my birdex to a species to identify it for me.

South Africa as well. I've put it upon myself to pick as much plastic trash as I can on the west coast beach of my hometown. What irritates me is how folks discard their trash on the beach when there are trash bins not far away. Some even put it into crevasses of coastal rocks.

Sound travels far in the ocean and whale songs are super loud, but it looks like baleens have evolved a way to sing in super-low frequency to hide from predators. It's fascinating how smart whales are and how they find new ways to survive in the ocean.

Earth.com news, Whales have developed an impressive strategy to evade predators. Study published in the journal Marine Mammal Science.

It appears baleen whales have developed a new method of communicating without giving themselves away to predators. Orcas struggle to pick up sounds lower than 100 hertz and baleen whales have learned to use ultra-low frequency sounds that makes it difficult for them to be tracked by predators.

Collage from Variety from the Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer

Forgive me Paleo/Jurassic community but I'm just not that excited for Rebirth. Maybe I'm just tired of the franchise, I don't know. On the other hand, I'm super excited for Fantastic Four: First Steps. Everything from what I've seen in the first trailer looks, well, fantastic!
