Well, Tony … everyone is entitled to their opinion. My gran loved him. 😉
Heard Kennedy regularly in The Garage nightclub, Highbury Corner ‘93 and didn’t know what it was. Remembered the lyrics. Found out 30 years later. Wonderful!
Too much information.
I heard clips and thought it’s not TFC but being a completist, I went for it. On 1st play I said to my wife it’s like Jonathan Richman and the Velvets then I read the promo sticker which stated “JR and VU.” Which is good. Wonderful album.
Wonderful memories. The first album I got was ABBA Arrival Xmas ‘76. The first I bought was Specials 1st. The Album has got some crackers on it.
Wonderful story. But, yes - it’s a charity shop thing nowadays, like James Last.
In for a demo and to pick up this RSD beauty from #PiccadillyRecords We were kettled for three hours. I’m telling the cops that I have to get out because this record is going fast. They let me out, I came back to thank them and the police were all asking if I got my record.

Begs the question - what was the first album in general?
Nearest I got was Auckland, Rotorua and Taupo. Wonderful place. But every time I hitched a lift they’d be playing reggae. That was a good few years ago, to be fair.
Ha ha, wonderful! I’ve just started collecting 7” sleeves and I’m overwhelmed, I tell ya. I’ve got 55 out of three million. 😂
The Ayreshire Elvis! Steak and Kidney! Wonderful.
Wonderful. Does anyone know why some are credited to Sed-Green and others are Green-Sed? Money involved or just input?
BMX Bandits. What a wonderful band!
Loving the ABBA.
It’s Record Store Day! #Halfmanhalfbiscuit

Are you in NZ? I spent a few months travelling the length and Woodface, Crowded House was the soundtrack at the time. Beautiful country, beautiful people. I’ve just started collecting 7” sleeves and I’m getting nervous at the volume! Best regards, mate.
The Pastels. ❤️
Had the honour of seeing Al Green at Glastonbury late ‘90s. Wonderful. That’s some collection.
Blow me if I haven’t just got tickets for #TeenageFanclub in Manchester. Wonderful!
(I’m the guy with the ABBA t-shirt - not actually a member of the band.)

Records went from Ally’s tartan army winning the World Cup in ‘78 to Del Amitri’s Don’t come home too soon in ‘98. ‘82 was Alan Wells, Jim Watt, Willy Carson, Miss Scotland, B.A.Robertson and Christian. Celebrity Big Brother. Sydney Devine still holds a grudge.

Friends Again at Strathclyde Uni was my first ever gig. Honey … was the stand out song. Saw James with Butler and Blake recently. Wonderful!
Yeah, I was being a bit facetious there. Rubber Soul felt that they were moving out of the music that inspired them - so no literal covers but a lot of traces - and Revolver seems like a jump forward.
We agree that it’s Abbey Road, The Beatles and Sgt. Pepper in that order but I played these two albums today and blow me if they weren’t wonderful! Sure, a few R’n’B covers on Rubber Soul but if you can drop Girl, Michelle, Tomorrow Never Knows, In My Life …❤️
