This is horrifying to read but not surprising. GP and practice managers need to look into this and to make changes to ensure deaf people are not failing with their health. Auto booking of interpreters would be a great first step rather than asking if we need an interpreter (esp for hospitals)

Yesterday we were in Westminster with @rnib.bsky.social and other charities to hand in letters to the Health Secretary Wes Streeting.
