The Eagle Lady, who is the wife of the Sun (Tonatiuh). She is known by various names, including: Cuauhtli Izohuauh, Quilaztli (also referred to as the witch), Coacihuatl, Cuaucihuatl, Yaocihuatl, and Tzitziminicihuatl. This depiction is based on both the Codex Borbonicus and Codex Borgia.

Here's a Tezcatlipoca that I drew once. He is casting a spell using the forearm of a Mocihuaquetzqui (a woman who has died in childbirth).

So, Dream Rider is a comic co-written with @reytonatiuh.bsky.social and drawn by me. It is set in a fictional futuristic world. We began fleshing out the story shortly before the pandemic and have been developing it since then. It has a large cast of characters and rich lore to explore.
