Planned and created weeks in advance, the strip served as a bittersweet farewell—just hours before its publication, Charles M. Schulz died peacefully at his home in Santa Rosa, California, at the age of 77.⁠

💛 His legacy lives on through his fans and the universal love of Peanuts.⁠

Today marks 26 years since the final Peanuts Sunday comic strip, seen here, appeared in newspapers on February 13, 2000.⁠
