Our efforts didn’t end in the field—we also came together for a Conservation Planning Workshop to share strategies and strengthen our collective work to protect Zamia species in the country.
Grateful to all who contributed their time and expertise.
Had a great week in the field with Vanessa Handley, Cristina Lopez, Mateo Roldán and Álvaro Pérez, looking for Zamia in Ecuador. This is a collaboration with the IUCN Cycad Specialist Group, the Global Conservation Consortium for Cycads, and the Ecuadorian Plant Specialist Group.
