We went to a quilt show over the weekend and I LOVED all of the children’s book and folktale themed quilts. 🥰

Living on the Mississippi River I find myself frequently studying the trees and water and mist.

Making these studies over and over again is an enjoyable way to discover the nuisances of different paints, brushes and even water sources.

I’m in my river phase.
