It reminds me a bit of a fiction entry we loved several years ago that dazzled judges, agents & editors. The writer quickly signed with an agent and that book is out in the world now. 🎉

I think it will do better if they share a different spread from the dummy. This is why sharing the dummy is so helpful! It probably would've been a M vs. Y without it - which might've meant honorable mention.

It's easy to forget after all the personal effort it takes to get a submission ready and submitted that there is still an avalanche of effort awaiting the judges and organizers on the other side.
